Hi, I’m Nick, a DVSA Approved Driving Instructor since 2003. I’ve helped hundreds of learners pass their driving test in Exeter through professional, structured intensive driving courses. Course Logistics & What to Expect
What is an intensive driving course?
A fast-track method that packs months of traditional weekly lessons into a few structured days or weeks to get you test-ready quickly.
Are intensive courses suitable for total beginners?
Yes, we offer comprehensive 40- to 45-hour packages specifically designed to take novices safely to test standard.
How many hours a day will I be driving?
Expect to drive between 3 to 6 hours per day, always structured with regular rest breaks to maintain focus.
Can I choose between a manual and an automatic car?
Yes, we offer both transmission types, though availability may vary depending on local instructor schedules.
Theory & Practical Test Bookings
Do I need to pass my theory test before starting?
While you can start lessons without it, we highly recommend passing your theory test first so we can secure your practical test date immediately.
Do you book the practical driving test for me?
Yes, our intensive packages generally include the fast-track booking of your practical driving test, aimed for the final day of your course.
What happens if I fail my practical test?
We will help you analyse the examiner’s feedback, book a fast-track re-test slot, and arrange a short remedial course to patch up the weak spots.
Lesson Locations & Vehicle Coverage
Where do my lessons start and finish?
We offer convenient home, workplace, or college pick-up and drop-off services within our designated service area.
Which driving test centre will I use?
Most of our students take their test at the local Exeter Driving Test Centre (Marsh Barton), and your lessons will heavily cover these test routes.
Will I use the same car for my lessons and the actual test?
Yes, you will use your instructor’s dual-controlled car for both your entire training block and the practical test.
Payments, Cancellations & Terms
How and when do I pay for my intensive course?
A deposit is required to secure your instructor and test slot, with the remaining balance due before your first official day of driving.
What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
Because instructors block out large time segments for you, cancellations require at least 14 to 21 days’ notice to avoid losing your fee.
Can I get a refund if I decide to stop midway through?
Refunds for unused hours are subject to our terms and conditions, deducting administrative fees and any short-notice instructor booking losses.
